Filmideia was founded in 2003 by filmmaker/producer Nuno Vieira to create an artistic space where Education, Social Intervention, and Human Rights take center stage.

After a period operating as a Cultural Association, Filmideia now works as a producer of films, television, and shows.

We explore the stage, film, and television to communicate more effectively. We combine gestures, images, and sounds into a product of excellence, where emotion is ever-present and the content makes all the difference.

Continuing with its educational origins, Filmideia developed the "Movimento S" in 2019 to promote Health and Well-being initiatives in schools and families.

The Movimento S is a project that has the High Patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic, as well as the validation of several institutional partners.

Filmideia emerged to give expression to Nuno Vieira's ideas in the field of AIDS and drug addiction prevention, aiming to fill a necessary gap in the area of audiovisual media for social intervention.

Statute of Cultural Patronage

Filmideia has seen its projects on AIDS and Drug Addiction Prevention recognized by the Portuguese Ministry of Culture with the appropriate status of Cultural Patronage.

Investing in Educational Children's Musical Theatre

Joining forces in the fight against childhood obesity, Filmideia created, produced, and implemented Roadshow, a children's musical theater piece that toured several schools in the country between 2009 and 2012.

Implementation of an Artistic Project in Lisbon's Primary Schools
